Rape or Molestation in your sleep?

Contrary to popular belief ...I'm very much alive! Rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated.LOL So sorry for being away for so long. I've had lots of health issues ....but thats another story.The main thing is.....I'm finally back. Got myself a laptop so I can get back online without climbing steps to my P.C.
Did I miss a lot while I was gone???? I hope to post more topics in the near future but I will wait and see what, if any, response I get to this announcement.Maybe everyone has given up on me and this tribe?If so...I cannot blame anyone. Hope to hear from someone soon.

Big Foot,Sasquatch,Yeti ????

Just finished watching a documentary on the science channel.There were quite a few prominent and well known scientists and professionals,specialists in different fields of science examining assorted alleged evidence collected over the years on Big Foot.It was very interesting and thought provoking.After examining and disecting foot prints,audio,DNA from hair,saliva and fecal samples,film,recreations of sightings and etc. The results were very conclusive for some and not so conclusive for others.The total concensus was that there is a very high probability that such a creature could exist,but more data would be needed to prove positive.
What do you think?

1: being inside buildings/houses that are kinda scary...
2: that Im running away from someone/something
3: sexual encounters/masturbation that are about to happen but never do

Aliens and UFOs

WWII Circular Stealth Aircraft

Does anyone have information or comments on the possible development of circular stealth aircraft in Prague during WWII and the subsequent grabbing of the technology by the Allies?

There was a documentary earlier in the year - which has now just played in Germany to great media attention and tabliod headlines about the subject about this area but it was handled in a very silly way.

Possession ????

Exorcist / Exorcism?????

I know that this sort of thing has been over glorified and probably blown way out of proportation by movies, books,etc.. However, considering the topic I last posted, it is something I guess we should also discuss. If it is possible to be possessed, I suppose then it is also possible for whatever it is that possesses an individual to be expelled or exorcised? It isn't something that gets reported or investigated a lot,but supposedly it is something that goes on even into today's society. This is a subject that has been around for centuries. There are several scriptures and mentions in the Bible,such as: "LUKE 4: 31" And he went down to Caperna-um, a city of Galilee. And he was teaching them on the sabbath; 32 and they were astonished at his teaching, for his word was with authority. 33 And in the synagogue there was a man who had the spirit of an unclean demon; and he cried out with a loud voice, 34 "Ah! What have you to do with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are, the Holy One of God." 35 But Jesus rebuked him, saying, "Be silent, and come out of him!" And when the demon had thrown him down in the midst, he came out of him, having done him no harm. 36 And they were all amazed and said to one another, "What is this word? For with authority and power he commands the unclean spirits, and they come out." 37 And reports of him went out into every place in the surrounding region." What do you think? How do you believe? Alligators in the sewers ??

Could there really be alligators crawling around under the streets of your city? Is it possible for anything to live in the sewers or underground for an indefinite period of time? If something as such,gets flushed does it end up in the sewers alive and well? Could there be some kind of freaky mutant species lurking in the darkness? What do you think?

Biggest Mystery of All !

How do you explain the origin of that wad of lint that gets trapped in your navel ? Does it get there on it's own? Does some unknown entity place it there without us being aware of it ? Of course I'm only asking from a man's standpoint.It also seems the bigger and deeper the navel the more lint that collects.If you have an outie does it still manage to coolect there? I'm not sure that women are affected by this phenomenon ? Notice : Pheno-MEN-on ! Do you have a theory ? Maybe some of the women members can help me on the question of them being affected by this? About 2 years ago, I was living in an isolated studio apartment in the hills west of Sebastopol, CA. (which is @ twenty minutes away from "The Bohemian Grove" I might add, and there is another story there, but that as they say is another story...). I was listening to coasttocoastAM and must have drifted off... and I "woke" to find two strange young children near the foot of my bed.

Now let me say that what I reckon is that there are 3 main categories of dreaming:

1. Mundane Dreaming: the semi-random conglomerate process and revision of the previous/past days events.

2. Lucid Dreaming: or dream authoring, etc.

3. The Waking Dream: which is, as I've experienced it, like literally walking the razor-edge between the conscious and the unconscious... maybe an out-of body exp. or astral projection... now to further define this third dream category, let me continue with my exemplary tale...

So I "woke" to find two young children near the foot of my bed. The first thing I noticed however, was that the area of my studio first appeared, and then quickly "felt" like it/I was in a fish-eye lens: things were slightly concave. Now know this: I knew I was "dreaming", but apart from the concave-style superimposition of space, the studio was EXACTLY like it was in standard reality: everything was in its place. There were NO surreal transmogrification's or disjointed chains of perception as in 97% of all the other dream states that I have experienced, and NEVER sustained like this one was. No, this was something very different and unique and it occurred to me that someone or somethingS might in fact be sharing my psyche.

So I had the notion that I should get out of bed and investigate this peculiar situation and INSTANTANEOUSLY I was standing, naked at my bedside. But I use the term "standing" quite liberally: as I "thought" myself out-of-bed, so I found myself out-of-bed, at my bedside, but the "gravity" I experienced upon standing there was unlike anything I've ever felt outside of imagination. I literally felt like a reed yielding to a spastic tide and although my feet were seemingly planted on the floor, I found my perspective to be vectored, no matter what I focused my vision on, as though my eyes were @ 3 feet from the floor (I'm 6' 7" tall!) and my body vacillating wildly between this midget perspective and my full height. I was able to gain some, but not much, control over this vacillating perspective and it was then that I saw the starChildren.

I saw two children of @ 7 years old each, just past the foot of my bed and near the kitchenette. I knew that they were twins. One male, one female. They stood side by side and wore little sneakers, shorts and t-shirts. On all accounts I would have thought them to be normal, human kids except that their heads were @ twice as large as normal human kids. They had large, dark almond shaped eyes and the hair on their heads was sparse.

Now let me again interject and tell you that despite the detail and the transfer of information that I experienced during this encounter, it all took place VERY fast, which as it was occurring, and upon reflection, contributed to my understanding that this was in fact a dream, a Waking Dream, or that that is the best definition I have in my vocabulary to relate the experience to others.

So I saw these two kids, and although they did not speak, nor display any physically discernible expression, I KNEW that they were somewhat surprised that I could see them and that I was conscious and actively participating in their/our reality. The next thing that I felt was their innocence, and my immediate concern was to get to the chair not five feet away that I had slung my garments over, pre-slumber, and clothe myself. This act quickly proved futile however, as though I was able to travel to and manipulate my clothing, putting on my pants was simply impossible. So I gave up that endeavor and then it hit me that this was real and that I was in the presence of the supernatural and/or extraterrestrial and such things as cloth weren't all that important anyway. I faced these creatures and through a combination of gestures, words, tears of joy and thought?, I attempted to make it clear that I was ecstatic and so very, very happy that we had made contact with one another. Yet they still seemed somewhat startled and anxious. I did my best to say that I had all the love in the 'local cluster' for them and would never intentionally harm them and what could be possible of an alliance of our species and please help me I'm so lonely and please help us humans, we're so lonely and some more blubbering on my part about whales or something, while they remained like a nervous Spock on the outside, but I did feel them attempt to reach back to my desires and it was THEN when this Waking Dream began to fragment. Were my emotions the cause? Was the (my?) human condition simply too sad and hopeless for them to assimilate/tolerate? I then began to realize that my emotions or the depth of my emotions were alien to them and made them most uncomfortable. It was then that they slightly, almost imperceptively 'turned' to each other and back to me and their distress began to receed.

They then gave me a 'key'. The key to begin to understand how and what it means to exist in THEIR inter-dimensional reality. And herein lies the Deus ex Machina of my tale that can only be apprehended on a subjective basis. This is what they told me which may be obvious: we, they and I, were meeting each other half-way, and it was largely up to my abilities, desires and blind luck, that we were sharing this superimposed reality. And to be able to stay in 'that place' or return to it, well, it was mostly my decision and my belief. And on realizing this, (like that feeling you get when you're on the ledge of a cliff when you know if it was just the curb of a sidewalk you could dance on it fearless, but since it's a cliff you get that fear, doubt and even urge to throw yourself over) I began to doubt.

And my process of doubt progressed. So then did they begin to 'diminutize'. In the next instant, or so it seemed to me, they had metamorphosed into smaller and smaller hairy, skittish, rodent-like monkey-creatures. I tried with all my might and courage to keep them there, in my mind... To keep myself there, with them, and not leak my humanity?. To maintain and rekindle the contact we shared, but it was too late. The levy had broken and the encounter was disintegrating. The last thing I remember was that the wall of my studio, to the right of me, had become a seamless portal to a thick, deep forest of trees with what looked like a canvass of autumn leaves ten feet deep and the creatures that were the starChildren were swallowed in a gentle rustling of leaves and then gone deep into the woods. I woke what seemed to be about an half-hour later to my normal studio, in my normal bed. Radio on, nothing changed.

Epilogue:

About a month had passed. I was sitting on the other side of my bed, facing the wall the starChildren had gone through, smoking a cigarette out the window. It was night, cold outside, but it felt good. And it was very foggy. I looked into the black sky and a spot there became milky; like lights embedded in the fog were coming closer and illuminating the soupy sky. Soon the lights came clearer creating an oblique, triangular(?) shape, colours opalescent. As I was looking through the screen of the window, I noted the location on the graph of the screen and quickly went to dig out a disposable camera I knew I had in my drawer. I returned to the spot I was sitting, camera at the ready and targeted the location of the lights from the graph on the window-screen. The lights were gone. Just black night. As I lingered a moment more looking at the screen, a tiny, tiny snow-white spider descended on its silk and stopped AT THE EXACT SPOT, just in front of the screen where I had graphed the lights. I bid her goodnight.

X-Files tours?

When I was in Vancouver (1996-1999) I was forever tripping over electrical cables for TV production, everywhere I went. Often the show was the X-files. It eventually occurred to me that someone should get a tiny little tour bus with a big video monitor and start a tour company that drives to various spots where the X-files was filmed and show people short scenes that were shot there. They could even provide simple costumes and script excerpts for people who wanted to act out their favorite scenes.

Do you folks think there might be a market for this kind of thing?

Many X-files actors still live in Vancouver, so if they need some cash...

Yukon Men Convinced They Saw Sasquatch

WHITEHORSE, Yukon - Conservation officer Dave Bakica is convinced that whatever two men saw early last Sunday morning, it shook them up. Marion Sheldon and Gus Jules were traveling out of town along the Alaska Highway on an all-terrain vehicle between 1 and 2 a.m. when they passed what resembled a person standing on the side of the highway.

Thinking it was a person from their small community who might be in need of a ride, they turned around.

As the two lifelong Teslin residents and members of the Teslin Tlingit Council approached to within 20 feet, they noticed the figure was covered in hair, but standing upright the entire time.

Though natural light was dusky, Jules saw what he believed to be flesh tones hidden beneath the mat of hair, he told Bakica.

Sasquatch? Big Foot?

"I have no doubt they saw something, and are convinced it was not a bear or anything in the ordinary," Bakica said. "They are convinced this was something out of the ordinary ... And they are pretty shook up over it."

Jules is an experienced hunter. Jules described the figure as standing about 7 feet tall, but hunched over. They could see it was not a person.

As the two parties went their separate ways, the dark-haired figure crossed the highway in two or three steps.

Bakica said ground conditions mixed with rainfall made it impossible to pick up definitive tracks and there was no hair on branches or other vegetation. Also, by the time he went to the scene Monday morning, half the town had been out to the site, he said.

Jules has launched a search for evidence that could document his experience.

"I have no doubt in my mind that they believe what they saw was a Sasquatch," said Bakica. "Whether it was or not, I do not know.

"Just because you can't prove something was there, does not mean it was not there."

Sheldon and Jules could not be reached for comment by the Whitehorse Star.

Teslin is about 90 miles southeast of Whitehorse.

It would not be the first suspected Yukon sighting of the folklore beast.

In April 1991, three Pelly Crossing residents reported seeing a Sasquatch while driving between Pelly and Stewart Crossing.

The creature fled back into the woods as the vehicle passed. The residents took a photo of what they claim were footprints measuring 15 inches long in the melting snow.

Crop Circles and designs....

Everyone has to know about Crop Circles by now.It's been in the News and written about,researched and studied.Movies and documenteries about it.I watched a documentary on it just yesterday on Sci-Fi.It was very interesting I thought.I had no idea how many and how often such circles and designs occur.All over the world.It also dates back many ,many,years.There are balls of light or some kind of energy associated with them.This is seen at most or all of the occurences.Are these real,caused by some sort of enery field?Is it something in the soil or air?Could there be something or someone doing this as a code or way of communicating with us?Or is this just another man made hoax,an elaborate scheme that keeps us thinking and believing that maybe there is something or someone out there?

What are the odds?

I attended a master’s program and graduated in 1995. While I was there, I found myself in a team with a very conservative, right wing young man, about fifteen years younger than me. He and I seemed to be on two opposite poles on just about everything; but, we managed to get the job done.

One day a few years later, I was hiking with a group of Boy Scouts in and in the middle of the woods along comes this fellow hiking on his own. We chatted for a while and on we went. A couple years after that, I was out driving on the scenic highway of the Columbia Gorge and we pulled over at an interesting spot with a creek running into an opening in the cliffs. We got out and hiked in the creek for a while and a few hundred yards up stream, there he stood again; in the middle of this nowhere place at the same time I happened to be there.

I thought about this many times over the years. Today, I took my son to get tires on his car at Firestone on highway 99 in Vancouver, WA. We had a 10AM appointment and I happened to be standing in the door when a young man walked up and asked me if there was a movie theater in the area as he was late in meeting a friend. I noticed it was this same guy, he didn’t recognize me at first. Now here is the extra whack in the head: He has been living in Germany and was joining a local coworker for a movie. Out of all the places to pull over for directions, he pulls over at a tire store and I am standing in the door! He is here for only two days and returning to Germany. What exactly are the odds of this guy randomly running into me three times under such circumstances????

Frankly, I am spooked by this and am beginning to think I am in a Twilight Zone episode.

I won't say I believe or disbelieve in the supernatural or the paranormal.Ghosts,spirits,magic,spells,voo-doo,curses,hauntings,demons,witches,warlocks,being possessed,channeling,talking to the spirits or communicating with the other side,e.s.p,scychics,superstitions,they all have been around and with us since the beginning of man.I love sci-fi.I love stories and movies about this subject.However I can not say that I have seen or heard or experienced anything to make me believe or not believe.How about you? Can you say the same? Has anything ,anything at all happened to you, around you or someone you know that makes you believe or disbelive.This is the place to talk and share such things and if you are only interested in what others have to say about this subject.Welcome and I hope you enjoy this Tribe.

I know out of all the people here on Tribe,there has to be someone willing to share their experience with the unknown.I can not believe that everyone is a non believer.Hauntings,spirits,feeling like you lived in another life,things moved without help,strange noises,lights or things sighted in the sky,visions and forseeing the future,astronomy,things that go bump in the night,scary stories,near death experiences,answering the phone before it rings,knowing something is wrong before anyone tells you.Are you or do you know someone that claims to be a Witch and practices witchcraft,do you drink blood,are there really vampires and werewolves,Bigfoot,Sasquatch,Loc Ness Monster,do you have a local legend about anything sighted like a lake monster or huge snake,come on folks,someone has to have a story of some kind????

Old Ghost Stories

When I was young I spent a lot of time with both sets of Grandparents.I was very lucky to have them for a very long time.Anyways,during the summer school break I would stay with my Grandmomma and Granddaddy on my Mom's side for several weeks at a time.You see my Mom had a younger Brother,born way after the other kids were almost grown.My Grandmomma would always call him her menopause baby.This made him my Uncle but he was only a year older than I so we became very close.They lived within walking distance of a small river that emptied into the Chesapeake Bay.I lived and still do in a very rural section of Virginia but boarded on practicaly all sides by some body of water.My Uncle and I spent many happy days on that river swimming,fishing and soft crabbing.They were also a bike ride from a little Country Store about 2 miles away.The owner grew watermelons behind the store to sell.We would sneak into the watermelon patch and swipe a melon and ride our bikes as fast as we could to a nice shady spot out of site and man that watermelon would be so sweet and juicy.But getting back to my story.We had to ride 2 miles on a narrow bumpy paved road with very dense forest on both sides to get to the store and melon patch.After we had supper we all would retire to the living room .They had electricity but it was still fairly new to them and they only used one dim lamp with a low wattage bulb.To cool us we had an old type electrical box fan in the window.There was only one receptical and it was full with the lamp and the fan.The windows and doors were all open in the rest of the old two story house with nothing between you and the bugs and mosquitoes but a thin rusty wire screen.This was our favorite time of the day.We would lay in the floor on a couple of old handmade quilts and Grandaddy would start telling us stories.He told us many ghost stories but my favorite and most scary one was about the "Headless Dog".I admit that compared to todays movies and T.V. shows with it's special effects and blood and gore this story paled in comparison.However back then it made the tiny hairs on the back of my neck stand up and my heart race until I could hear it pounding in my ears like it would burst.I also spent a lot of time at my other Grandparents on my dads side.They didn't have electricity and kerosene lamps were the only light used.BigDaddy and Maw was what i called them.Bigdaddy could spin quite a yarn or two himself.My favorite BigDaddy story was about the time he and two of his friends were coonhunting in a forest with a narrow dirt road that went from one paved highway to a another paved highway about 5 miles or so apart. This dirt road was used as a cut through or shortcut.One night as they were walking on this road going down a long hill waiting for the hounds to get on a fresh scent they heard some horses coming over the hill behind them.That was not unusual back then because a lot of people were still using horses and wagons to travel the back roads for short journies and for sawmills and logging.Anyway they could hear these horses pulling a wagon very fast and by the sound they knew something was wrong.The horses sounded spooked and the wagon was moving way to fast as though it was being chased by something or someone.Bigdaddy and his buddies jumped from the road into the ditches on either side because the horses and wagon were coming at them so fast they hardly had time to think.Just as they cleared the road and got out of harms way they heard the horses and wagon pass by them but there was nothing there.No horses and no wagon but the sound kept moving by and kept going until they could not hear them anymore.That one and the one about the balls of fire or bright light he would see moving through the cemetery on his way home at night.These were some of the best times of my life for many reasons not just the stories but the stories have stuck with me ever since.As time went on and electricity came to all and every house had a T.V.we still had fun and enjoyed life.However it was never quite the same.The stories were told as the gospel truth of course and at that time we wanted to believe every word.After that I never missed an episode of Twilight Zone,The Outer Limits.Saw every Wolfman ,Frankenstein and Vampire movie that came out.I always watched the soap like series that aried every afternonn after school called Dark Shadows.I only enjoy a few of the horror or sci-fi shows and movies now.They just aren't the same for me.I loved The X-Files,still watch every episode and rerun of Star Trek (the original) TwilightZone,The Outer Limits and any other older show I can find.The Poltergeists movies were great,some of the documenteries about haunted houses and Ufo's,Big Foot,Loc Ness and others make for good entertainment.I guess I am still trying to beleieve that maybe there are some things out there that can not be explained.Then the cynical,oh grow up part of me takes over and I just dismiss it all.Do you remember any Ghost Stories you have heard sitting around a camp fire or at your Grandparents knee? If so how about sharing them here so we all can read it and remember times long ago when everything seemed real and possible.
