Sat, July 10, 2004 - 6:07 PMThe ones I've seen are small-about the size of rats, and they poke and prod you for fun when you are trying to sleep.
A piece of iron in the room or on your person will deter them, much like kryptonite to Superman.
Hope this helps!

Re: FAIRIES!
Mon, September 13, 2004 - 2:14 PMFairies, Elves, and the like... are familiar... and seemingly very real, to cultures where the use of Amanita mushrooms, Plants containing DMT, and other naturally occuring hallucinogens were commonplace. I feel that Terence McKenna had the right idea about the origins of such myths.
Here's and intersting site that mentions that "Little Red Ridinghood" was originally titled "Little Red-Cap".

Re: FAIRIES!
Thu, September 16, 2004 - 1:03 PMNice link John.
My great-grandfather from Denmark was a painter. Many of his paintings contain faerie (fae-er-ie), and trolls and such. And mushrooms (some Amanita Muscaria) feature prominently in those paintings. I'll have to get my mom to take some pictures of them so I can post them.
A couple of years ago, I had 'an experience' that I'd like to share while I was living in a fairly remote rural area just outside of Sebastopol, CA., where a lot of Muscaria grows in the fall. I took some pictures of a huge patch of them that I'll have to dig-out.
I'll tell you my experience in a new post: "starChildren".

Re: FAIRIES!
Fri, August 3, 2007 - 9:31 PMDid you know that the airport at Glasgow Scotland spent over 2 million pound diverting a runway to prevent destroying a Fairy Mound? Did you know that a lot of the roads in England, Scotland, Ireland are designed not only to protect anceint pagan ritural sites, but also Fairy Mounds? Did you know that large tracks of farm ground in the UK have areas that they don't farm within them, because these are protected Fairy Mounds? Only in America will people not see Fairies because they don't want you to. Little people from the white fairy realm will only visit you if you are skyclad in nature, and have true connections to nature. People love nature, they use nature, but very few know how to connect with it.
